There are a lot of myths on when you can get pregnant and when you can’t. Many of us will remember what school sex education tutor said that you can get pregnant if you have sex hookup at any time during their menstrual cycle. Telling young people that they get pregnancy at any time may be an effective way of encouraging them to wait to have sex, but the information is not accurate.
To get pregnant, you need to have sex hookup before you ovulate, from two to three days before ovulation, the most fertile days. But how will you know when you are ovulating? And when and how often you have sex if you want to get pregnant?
Predicting ovulation and the myth of the day 14
Often said, even by doctors, is that ovulation to 14 day menstrual cycle (one day in and day out, when you get your period). Some women it is to hear and decide to have sex on day 14. The problem is that many women do not ovulate on day 14 of the cycle. Normal ovulation can occur as early as 10 days late as day 20 (or even later, especially if your irregular cycles).
So as you can predict when you will ovulate? There are many techniques, including using ovulation Predictor kits, or tracking your basal body temperature. There are advantages and disadvantages to these methods.
But the study says that the best day to have sex when trying to conceive is a day you will notice the most fertile cervical mucus. Fertile cervical mucus of cervical discharge that resembles raw egg and usually appears on earlier days before ovulation.
The use of cervical mucus sex during pregnancy
A study at the adultXdating.com looked at who was a better predictor of sex that leads to pregnancy: sex on the basis of the results of the basal temperature charting or changes in cervical mucus.
They found that, no matter what the ovulation day actually occurred, pregnancy is most likely to happen if the couple had sex on the day when the present fertile cervical mucus. This may be because the cervical mucus helps sperm to survive and “swim along.” However, there are other reasons why wait until most fertile days might not be the best way to go about getting pregnant.
Why wait for ovulation is not the best idea
Sometimes we get so obsessed about sex at the right time; we neglect the sex at different times during the cycle. Sex is starting to feel like a chore, it becomes less about love and relationship. It can put enormous stress on the relationship.
If you try to time sex for ovulation, you are more likely to miss an opportunity. If you are waiting for and waiting for signs of ovulation, you might miss them, or they can occur when sex is just not possible.
Studies say that sex hookup for six days before ovulation can really lead to pregnancy. If you plan to have sex two to three times per week, regardless of whether the signs of fertility, you’re likely to have sex at least once during this time six days. This is less stressful than trying to time sex for a few days.
Further studies have shown that after 10 days of abstinence, greatly reduced the quality and quantity of semen. The quantity and quality of sperm, but after one or two days of abstinence.
If single women waited until you have signs of ovulation, and you have not had sex for several days before having sex, sperm, which gives your partner, may not be as fertile. You may be the most fertile time, but it will not be at its peak fertility.
